300 students means including those on wait list?
Think 300 may include prospective students for future batches? -

300 includes students AND their parents. Only students with Offers for 2018 inake were invited for the tea session on 12/5 Sat (article seems 'misleading', I agree).
Number of students at LKC tea session may not tell much about the number of WLs that might be converted to Offers, as most students with Offers from YLL and LKC were likely to be at both tea sessions to find out more about both schools. -

Yes, both tea sessions were held on 12/5 Sat. YLL's was in the morning while LKC's was in the afternoon. YLL has tea sessions on weekdays too (2 more, I think) but the one on 12/5 Sat was for the army boys. Parents were not invited for YLL tea sessions.
Both teas are on the same day? Same time or are the students able to make it to both?
LKC has only 1 tea session on 12/5 Sat, and parents were invited. LKC seems more 'aggressive' in their efforts to woo candidates (and their parents).

That's always been the case. LKC will woo you from the time the kid is in JC if they really want you. Buffet dinner with the dean (students only), tea sessions with the faculty... YLL is more laidback. Parents no need to come until white coat ceremony.
