My kids started their chinese enrichment with Berries till k2 thereafter switch to other language school as found them more suited for primary level.

Changed to hua cheng only from p2 onwards as found their structure more alike to school syllabus esp spelling lists , vocab and compo type of pictures.
Generally class size not more than 6

So far both my kids are still in hua cheng and am signing them for holiday prog too

            Hi Everyone,

Can anyone advise me which centre is better for a P3 child who does not like Chinese, Hua Cheng or HCL?
I understand that both centres offer COC - Compos, oral and comprehension components.

            Kindly advise.

            Thanks and Regards.

              a)

in one month (there are 4 lessons, in a month) -
compare the Total number of zuowen lessons written at Hua Cheng vs. written at HCL, compare the difference.

choose the one, that gives your child : more zuowen practice exposure.

              b)
              check -

for each zuowen lesson, after your child had written :
does Hua Cheng automatically give your child a model answer, for the previous week's zuowen topic written ?

if No, then ask yourself this key question -
how do you expect your child to improve in his essay (her) writing, if no model zuowen, to refer to ?

I'll have to call up HC to find out more about their weekly lessons.

:thankyou:[/quote]Hi Carowl. Have you decide which centre to go? I'm considering HCL(COC), Hua Cheng (CCW) and Tien Hsia for my kids (P3 & K2). Both of them are in Berries currently. My p3 son's result started to drop due to his poor oral and compo.
