Understand that now the IB Classes are not taking the O Level Exam for MT or HMT. Does it mean in year 5 & 6 the boys still need to take Chinese (SL or HL)? Are they able to take Ab initio Malay or French?

I think taurbear was asking for the numbers for leadership and music subgroups. In any case, I think the numbers in the link
may not be valid anymore with MOE changes in DSA proportions and dropping general academic DSA. All I can tell you is that there were maybe 10 Innovation DSA boys in this year's cohort, and quite a few more Leadership DSA boys.

The school is able to intake maximum 50% of students for DSA. So don’t think is able to provide the breakdown for the respective category like Leadership, Music, Innovation & Art.

Technically 50% is correct, but when my son was going thru the DSA exercise last year the IP schools told us that they would be taking in no more than 1/3 via DSA last year. This is the total number including sports, aesthetic and various academic channels.

                      IB parents

                      1. Project grades are subjective. Do your kids’teachers give feedback on improvement areas? If pure grading of marks, how do they know how to improve?
                      2. Based on your observations, does the school coordinate the project timeline across all subjects? What time does your kid sleep everyday n do they need work weekends as well?
                      3. Under the name of independent learning, will the students be given a subject topic n asked to learn on their own?

                        Hi,

For those parents whose kids had gone through the GAT test, may I ask how do you prepare for it?
