Are you PV?Staying within 1km of Northland primary... Can anyone especially those registered in 2017 advised?
Thank you -
Gupani:
Yes you have nothing to lose. Just do it this way and trust God to assign the most suitable school for your son:Hi all
I live in the east within 1km from Temasek primary, we are SC and will apply for my son under 2C. If we get through the balloting then great and if not, I will go to St. Stephens, hopefully during 2C itself if the school gives us sufficient early warning.
My husband and son are both baptized Catholics and I'm also contemplating using the 2B phase to attempt SJI. We will def need to ballot if I'm reading the KP balloting history chart properly (ballotting in 2B for SC over 2kms for past 12 yrs!).
Do you think this is a safe enough plan with the 3 options of SJI (technically nothing to lose as I would not have applied to any other school in 2B anyway, so if we get lucky then great). Any inputs or ideas much appreciated
good luck to all, counting down now...
- Phase 2B: register for SJIJ. If don’t get a place, then go to next phase
- Phase 2C: register for Temasek Pri. If don’t get a place, then go to next phase
- Phase 2C(S): register for St Stephens. Confirm will get a place.
You are blessed to have so many chances at this “game”. -
What The:
Nope, not a PV but SC...

If you get a caregiver’s Statutory Declaration done, the child will be placed in the 1-2km distance category. Any feasible schools in that region?zac's mum:

Nope.
If u still prefer the school <1km of your house, then you have to find alternative transport arrangements. I believe there are 3rd party tpt providers eg. Grab Shuttle or Schoolber or private drivers or KSP parents, just ask around. -
PR applying in Phase 2C for:
Under 2km
1. Tanjong Katong Primary School
2. Haig Girls Primary School
Over 2km
3. Opera Estate Primary School
Going on historical data, all three schools should have places available in phase 2C, however the dragon baby year is making it so hard to tell. What would be your strategy for securing a place at one of these three schools?
Many thanks in advance. -
