there won’t be any kids applying under alumni (phase 2A) as APS is still new…but what about the teachers’ kids? which phase will they fall under? it’s just scary looking at the numbers today.

People only go down physically if they need to know the latest number before making a decision.

Or if there is some I.T. issue with your Singpass login.

No difference : whether register online via internet, or go down personally to school to register.
MOE still need to wait for all applicants to register, by the latest date-line due (closed).

People usually go down to school, on the last day of that particular Phase registration :-
just to get hold of the numbers breakdown, by distance range, from the Registration officer on-site, in case the phone line engaged, cannot get through, or officer too busy with too many phone calls coming in, don't want to entertain parents' enquiries about numbers (some schools' admin behave this way). So, on the last day of each Phase around 3 pm, many anxious parents prefer to go down school premises personally, check the numbers on-site themselves, there and then.

Highly recommending ALPS. A close friend is full of praise for the P. An extremely nice and caring principal. Heard she was from another popular primary school.

Compulsory enrichment lessons are banded and stronger students get to learn additional stuff to stretch their potential. Weaker students are given time to catch up. While many schools are doing away with extra classes so that teachers can have more time to moonlight, ALPS still believe in doing extra for the benefit of all students. ALPS students are also coached in 7-habits. Very few schools have this programme.

Phase 2C looks slim for APS even for SC? I’m SC under 1km and I’m not sure if I stand a good chance for APS so I’m starting to consider another alternative now - Kellock. Any suggestions?
