It’s tough to prepare for the camp so why not just let your children go and enjoy it.

There will be a few stations and tasks to perform and they are looking out for qualities such as problem solving abilities, passion and motivation, independence, creativity and communication abilities.

During the experiments, it's good to look at what are others doing to see if you are on the \"right track\" but a word of caution, please read the questions very carefully and don't follow blindly. Good experiment skills will be most helpful. These are some observations from previous batches ..... Good luck to all πŸ˜‰

hi everyone. congratulations to all who got into the camp round! having gone through it myself and after participating as a student helper for subsequent years' camps, i can safely say that you don't need any preparation whatsoever - you just need to participate actively and have a willingness to learn.

the main highlight of the camp is the various stations (five or so). the science (biology, chemistry, physics) ones have practical components where you may be required to work in groups. there will be teachers on site who grade your performance in not just the experiment, but also in the way you work with other people. there is also an english station (prompted essay writing) and a \"computational thinking\" station that was introduced in last year's camp (i don't recall too much of it, sorry!)

most importantly, i encourage everyone to make the experience worthwhile by having fun in the process! come with an open mind and try to get to know the others in your group.

best of luck to all. πŸ™‚

                    Dear All,

My DS is in P5. He is not a medal winner in maths / science, but consistently perform well.
Any suggestions on how to prepare for NUS High entrance next year? Which enrichment provides better outlook? :thankyou:

For Maths you can use the online portal - https://www.edugain.com, full access is available via monthly subscription. For preparation your children should practice Grade 7 papers.

Did any one has experience going straight to interview without going through camp? My kid is sick during camp day and will go interview. Can anyone share type of questions ask to a kid without going through camp ie. I suppose it will be a different type of interview from those who has been through camp. Thanks
