Don't forget... There are still parents who have already enrolled their child(ren) in the earlier phase (2A1, 2A2 & 2B) who are still monitoring the status of their another preferred sch for phase 2C... Once they see that they have good chance in that phase 2C school, they will withdraw from their earlier enrolled school and re-joined the 2C crowd wor...

And free up places in the Phase.

Expect to see more jostling and movement once Phase 2C starts.

I’m not understanding why MOE dont impose a “forbidden to withdraw once registered” rule. This will eliminate the hogging of places in the earlier phase. And the numbers will be more genuine.
I suspect MOE is leaving some leeway in the process. Government bodies tend to take one baby step at a time.
Besides, the number of withdrawals and re-applications are usually small to fret about.
However, once this gets out of hand (seems likely to be the case this year 😆 ), won't be surprised to see this rule being the next addition after 20/20, 30months address restriction and 80% affiliation limit.

If it possible for GRL to withdraw at day 2 of 2B from one school and submit to another?

Currently in my neighbourhood A sch is is more popular, with B being slightly behind. Day 1 of 2B shows that both school has equal contestants.

Would the GRL see this as an opportunity and want change from B to A. And is this possible or allow?

          Thank you for everyone replies.

if parents are not allowed to withdraw their kids, chances are they will add on to the 2C madness.
there are 40 reserved - 20 for 2B and 20 for 2C. if parents withdraw, the seat will flow downwards. given this year's dragon year, I don't think many would dare to withdraw because phase 2C is very stressful to monitor.
