I went down for registration at 9.30am. My registration number is 184 out of 240 seats available for poi Ching. I am the 40/48 at phase 2B

Congrats!! I think Poi Ching not revealing info could be because it was unlikely to go into ballot.

It seems some schools are willing to provide the distance information while others will give the official line about waiting for MOE website. I feel all schools should publish the distance information so it’s fair for all. After all, it’s good for everyone. If numbers are clear, parents could make a better decision and there would be less balloting too.

CHIJ Kellock - outside 2km
RGPS - outside 2km

At Phase 2C, your highest chance is at CHIJ Kellock, because

Alexandra : SC need to ballot < 1km. You don't have chance, staying outside 1 km.

Raffles : SC need to ballot, >2 km.
you may try your luck balloting, if u like Rgps. But in 2CS, must have a back up school, ready.

CHIJ Kellock : a lot of seats had been left for 2C, based on Moe figure. Should be able to enter this school.

Confirm ballot within 1km for 2C and last year there are abt 203 applications for 74 slots. This year left 53 slots so u need a plan B as high chance of ballot out.

Nan chiau is oversubscribe for phase 2B. Confirm ballot for 2C. Last year the odds are 3 fighting for 1 vacancy n all is less than 1km.

In terms of risk, mee toh likely to be balloting within 1km and about 1.5-1.7 per vacancy
Punggol view is safer in the term of risk like high end is 1.2 per vacancy. but outside chance of no balloting within 1km

Looking at the increase in the total vacancies, you would expect alot of kids around this area and alot of movement during the last day when one school has more risk than the other and people move around.
