SA1 Exam week

DD (P5) got 80/95 for English paper 2 and 80/100 for maths. She is quite upset with the marks and I tell her there no point upset over whatever was already over. P5 is expected to be much tougher than P4 and she can still catch up by putting in more effort.
Those are very good results for P5!!! -

Very good mark , especially for English, for a start for P5. will be more settled by term 3 and see improvement. don't worry. -

For English, DD said she lost the most marks in:
‘Synthesis and Transformation” – scored 4/10
. “Fill in the blank with the suitable word” – scored 12/15
“Comprehension” – scored 16/20
The above total up to 13 marks
Another 2 marks form others section.
Have advise her to practice more in ‘Synthesis and Transformation”
As for Maths, have to review when the paper release back to us.

Last year her English SA2 scored 41½ over 50. That was equivalent to 82.
Maths was 95/100. -

usually year end is easy as the teachers want the students to have a smooth transition to the next level -

Am quite sure your dd will be able to do very well in sa2 as now its the adjusting period.
Friends all told me its normal to drop in math especially.She is doing very well already...jia you....
