The 2018 stats aren’t updated at "Pri 1 Ballot reg history"… is there any technical problem? Does anyone know? Now already Phase 2B…Thanks.
Ps: no updates even I logged in. -

Didnt get in Chongfu as we were above 2km and had to ballot.
Disappointed yes but it was a good gamble!
I had to choose between using my grassroots for any schools under the constituency (and cf does not fall into it) ir using the clan’s. We ended up going for cf using the clan although it was deftly high risk.
Oh well, Plan b! -

All the best! My friend who did PV for chongfu and live >2km, also failed the ballot. They tried to call the school to ask about appeal but the school said no appeal. Did 80 hours of PV and didn't manage to get a spot.

I know some schools welcome their most hardworking PVs to join the waitlist. The more hours contributed, higher on the waitlist. Chongfu does not exercise this discretion?troisd:

surprising, RGPS posted higher vacancies this year vs 2017… 114 vs 111

I don't know if they submitted their name for the waitlist, will advise her to do so if they haven't done so.

Yes you can try waitlist now.
Zac’s Mum: not that I am doing it this year, but would like to know for future.HHMummy:
We just received...we are unsuccessful. :gloomy:
Can we be asked to put on waitlist or have to wait till the whole registration phase is over?
What are the odds of getting a place on wait list? How long usually is a wait list, and is it a first come first serve thing? When should a parent sign up for child on wait list? After phase 2B? -
Waitlist is not on first come first serve. It is fully at the discretion of the school. So usually when vacancies are available, schools will decide who gets it. Among the criteria would be how has the parents contributed to the school, any religious affiliation, alma mater etc.
If all else being equal, then the person that’s next on the waitlist would get the coveted place.
