Hmmm...fair enough. Also good that my son tells me he doesn't like the teacher. Sigh, me too what more my son.

Anyone has experience with Berries at Kembangan or Tampines Mart?
Hi VooVoo,
My 2 boys (P1 and K1) are at Berries Tampines Mart. They were previously from the Pandan Valley branch. Switched to Tampines Mart branch as we moved back home from my parents place since DS1 started pri sch. I don't have much interaction with the P1 teachers. But the K1 teachers are nice and friendly. My DS2 is those who are resistance t new environment so he cried for the 1st few lessons. After that he was ok as one of the teachers gave me lots of love and attention during class. DS2 got so motivated that he will do his Berries homework w/o me nagging him and will even volunteer to read the Berries book so that he can read when his teacher ask him. Overall the experience has been good for the past 4 months. -
Anyone tried RC and CC Chinese class?
My kids attending Chinese classes at RC and CC. Fees are only a fraction of enrichment centers. I treat as immersion since teachers are usually native speakers. -
Usually RC & CC chinese class the fees are generally much lower compare with those chinese language centre.

hi
i’m thinking of sending my 3-yr-old girl to Hua Lang. Centre’s holiday camp. anyone sent their kids there before? Is it good?
thanks for your comments! -
I am at my wits end, my son refuses to learn / speak or listen to any Chinese despite an 80/20 English /Mandarin (Hokkien) household. Although DS is not yet 3, however I am worried that (a) he will not develop the love / interest for the language (b) he will come to hate other enrichment classes (which he enjoys taking) just so that he doesn’t have to do Chinese.
Of course I am also worried about going to K1/K2 and Primary 1 .. PLSE.
We have tried and failed:
:stupid:\\
-\tGUG (though loves his English teacher)
-\tJulia Gabriel (hated both English and Chinese)
-\tBerries (did last until the end of the lesson (if only by force from the teacher), when he advised that he will not return no matter what…)
-\tTienhsia (didn’t even make it half way through the class)
Any recommendations?? :?: -
Pls check your PM

My boy is the same!
We noticed it when he was 2yo and started on Chinese classes when he was 2.5yo.
We found a program that he loves and now he’s attending kindergarten there. Through the program, he not only learnt to accept the language, he can sing songs and recognise the words too!
It’s pretty pricey but he loves it. They have a holiday program if you just want to try it out instead of plunging straight into it. PM me for info as I do not want to reveal my son’s school openly due to security reasons.
