Hi kiasu pig
Thanks! your son probably has the aptitude for taekwondo! We went for the trial class at SAFRA and hubby and I both thought the instructor to student ratio is good. But my kids prefer KTMA though.
Good luck to your son and hope he’ll sustain his interest!
Hi all
Anyone has any feedback on Korean Taekwondo Martial Art Academy (KTMA)? Do PM me if you prefer not to share here.
Thanks much!

RE: All About Taekwondo
Hi kiasu pig
Thanks very much for your feedback! Congrats! Your DS must be really good to have won gold medals! How long has he been learning?
We r going for trial class at both schools and will see which the kids prefer. Will also be comparing the costs. Have read the reviews in this thread and all the gear sound pretty expensive so doesn’t sound like we have a choice.
Thanks again for your feedback! -
RE: All About Taekwondo
hi all
need your advice. i want to enrol my 5-yr-old and 9-yr-old in a taekwondo class. I’m hoping my younger 1 will learn some self discipline while building up his stamina. I’m considering Hyun Taekwondo and Taekwondomics which are nearer to my home. appreciate if anyone can share your feedback. Thanks much! -

RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight
Hi popires
you can make apptm with SNEC directly but charges will be higher as you’re considered a private patient and will not enjoy any subsidy. but you get to pick your doctor and charges will depend on seniority of the doc.
if you’re referred to SNEC by Health Services/polyclinics, charges will be subsidised but you can’t pick the doc you want. -
RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight
Hi 24-hr mum
is your girl using the 0.01% atropine? or 0.1%?
my 6 yr old girl degree is also 500.
we went to 2 eye docs - 1 prescribed 0.1% while the other suggested that we try the 0.01% that is only available at SNEC.
so, we’re in a dilemma now but have made an apptm with SNEC which is only in Feb.
the 1st doc who prescribed 0.1% atropine gave us a prescription for transition lens, no mention of bifocal.
Thanks! -
RE: Eczema problems, Allergy & Rashes...Solutions...
thanks much! we’ve been using physiogel when her condition flares up as i refused to let her continue with the steroid cream. it takes a few days to heal.
her eczema is on the face though, so not sure if we can use the crocodile oil. -

RE: Eczema problems, Allergy & Rashes...Solutions...
hi
has anyone tried the crocodile oil that was recommended by 1 of the parents?
my girl has very bad eczema too so am wondering if i should try that.
am not crazy about using those steroid creams which seem to work for a while only, and then she gets a relapse again! -
