I understand the new P has scrapped remedial classes for the P6s. How are the teachers going to finish the syllabus before prelim? Can any existing P6 parent shed some light? Thanks.

This is the standard of my child’s form teacher... I’ve 10+ pages of snapshots of work marked wrongly... Teacher edited with wrong grammar usage omg and even spell accidentally as “accidently” and many more.. feedback given to her and HOD but their reply is standard and never take action.. my child seldom do compo, no homework, no tests or exams and homework only got colouring... I am really concerned... I’m tired, very very tired... tired of correcting tr errors, tired of the slow pace of school in teaching math/eng, lack of practice lack of homework.. tell me how..

In this case, should feedback to the principal, if no action taken can bring up to MOE cos it will affect the rest of the students as well.

She’s here for 1 year plus already, heard she’s going to teach many upper primary Eng Science and Math next year.. currently is lower primary.. it’s not about new or not, she’s refused to listen to feedback.. and feel she’s very smart.. just say ok noted.. and til now all her math mistakes I brought up she never reteach... even after many months.. everything I say is like deaf ears one.. and very rude kind..

Seriously since p1 I have brought up several poorly crafted qs already and they did acknowledged, I dunno what’s e problem w the department but I don’t think I have much of a voice... for now, I can only give my kid assessment books n monitor my kid through my own way.. since other parents happily think their kids in good hands, then it make no sense for me to keep pursuing the matter.. if I got a choice, I will never ever send my kids here again.. I regret it so much and we don’t have a choice bec hubby is alumni.. it’s the worst school I know

If yr child(Ren) hv not pass P2/3, pls consider transfer to a sch u believe is more suitable. But no guarantee they’re good. But I believe those with good reputation, the HODs normally act very fast (to protect their sch stds).
