        zac's mum:

Those agents who act blur or really blur...are borderline misrepresenting the full facts to make the sale. Like your example of the ads. Trying to hook and con those unsuspecting buyers who think 1-2km can get into ATS or CHS!
agents who are unscrupulous will try to con buyers. buyers have to do their homework whether the school is less than 1km or out of it. OT a little, some agents cannot be trusted.
for eg some blocks in southhaven just miss that 1km to pei hwa.

          ACS Junior numbers at 11am

          (Total 41 places for 2C)

          SC <1km: 23
          SC 1-2km: 1
          SC >2km: 4
          PR <1km: 1

Numbers as expected for Day 1.
Day 3 suddenly <1km will all surge in the afternoon.

            Maris Stella 1-2km

            St Andrews junior >2km
            Geylang methodist >2km
            Mee toh >2km

Maris Stella is my first choice but am worried balloting will omit 1-2km entirely due to the little number of vacancies left for Phase 2C this year.
Pls advise on chances. And what is the next best second choice.
            Thanks!
Can call sch go check on the breakdown if oversubscribed. Register on third day might be an option.

                  Just sharing:

                  Catholic high
                  <1km = 30
                  1-2km = 2
                  Vacancies = -11
Maybe they didn't even know their chance is ZERO. Only registered & go off to work etc & assuming they will get a ballot chance. Same thing happened to my fren who is a first timer to P1 reg last year. The sch admin didn't call them to tell them they have zero chance.. in fact, sch admin told them the sch has no obligations to call them about it. They have to monitor it themselves... 🤷

Unfortunately, the school admin is right.

Yup for 1st timers or parents who never read up KSP forums will never know all these unwritten rules or guidelines...

Some sch admin will be kind enough to call parents to alert them not to waste their 2C chance.
Some sch admin don't even want to reveal the breakdown stats of the registration. And kept saying they can't reveal....
