yes, received email notification on 5th July for audition on 7th.

- sec 1s will not have any mid-year exams (will have end-of-years) but there are common tests every week.
- there’s an ahs carnival held every year, and it is compulsory for students to pay for the carnival shirt (i don’t know about students on financial assistance scheme though)
- for sec 1s, the humanities taught in first half of year is history & second half would be geog and lit. it will be switched around in sec 2
- sec 1 study bio and chem. sec 2 study phy and chem. i must say, this is not a very accurate representation of how well the student is doing in the subject as the student might be under different conditions and have different attitudes in different times. for example, i did quite badly for science in sec 1 but i’m still scoring As in the triple sciences.
- it is kind of ‘partnered’ with All Saints’ Church that is located inside the school compound, every morning will have short devotion + prayer and every year the church will have a camp that’s open to ahs students to join, not compulsory.
- affiliated with SAJC (if put SAJC as first choice in o level, get 2 bonus points)

honestly in my opinion i wouldn’t really miss ahs when i graduate (after all it was my 3rd choice), but i would say it’s definitely a school to consider.

My son is studying in this school which is his first choice school. So far so good. He is doing well there.

Understand that in Sec 2, only Physics and Chemistry will be taught. Any kind soul can share the Sec 2 Science topics?
