If the kid got a place in 2a1, he/she must be a SC or PR.

Rich or not, SC cannot Suka suka apply international schools. (Correct me if I am mistaken. )

Not girls school. She is alumni but the father is foreigner I’m not sure if that affect. Anyway they can afford private if needed.

2CS and you still want reputable schools? of course you will choose the school nearest to your home.

Sorry just to clarify… which means all Phase 2C that register at Marymount Convent is successful? Need not go thru ballot since there’s sumore vacancies for 2Cs…

By the way, 8th August most schools having early dismissal ~10 or 11am due to National day celebrations.


Admin office could be closed early too. In case anybody planning to try waitlist.

1. Cantonment
2. Pei Tong & Gan Eng Seng (tie)

Ps: if u are anywhere near Marymount Convent / Cedar Primary / Bukit Timah Primary and stats look like no balloting, worth a try.

In terms of standard all 3 above are roughly the same (I stayed in Clementi be4 and now Bukit Merah area). So go for the one nearest to u and most convenient.
