No la... it wont change so fast.
The current syllabus change was also announced long ago - in time for the students to get used to it and also for the teachers to implement the changes.
I think if you go and check the MOE syllabus, they announce it (Science) for the 2014 P3 cohort. Maths was announced for the 2013 P1 cohort. -
pray no change too as I m planning for dd2 to use back the same books.

But then now P3.....should not be affected by any change liao.

Ya, this yr PSLE is using the 2014 Science syllabus, but this was already announced when my kid was in P4, so the last 3 yrs, the students hv been learning that. The changes are also not that big - 90% the same, I think. So no need to worry about all these. I think there are bigger/ more things to worry about in P6 - DSA, PSLE, Prelims, children's mental stress levels, parents mental stress levels too

parents' mental stress is never ending.
every child is different...so how much hand holding is dependent on the child. prelims is important if using DSA.
daughter took psle in 2016. that was the last year p6s got to enjoy 50% MCQ / 50% OE.
psle oral should be conducted next week. remember no chocolate, nothing spicy, fried or heaty. lots of water.
enjoy the weekend before ramping up for prelims. -

I thought schools will need it for DSA? when kids were taking prelims, I didn't stress them...but to advise them to take it as a test. but you know school prelims are set so tough and demoralising.
