Not from what I have observed from DC’s friends discussion.

Does the oral questions differ slightly from students to students?
I think the teachers do have the leeway to guide the students back if straying from topic, ask clarifying questions, prompt the students who are stuck. So it's possible that there are some slight variations.
Thought I saw a forummer mention yesterday that the kid was asked about CCA in the school, which seemed slightly different. -
Ic coz my girly has first qn for Chinese as “what are the wrong doings of the boys in library”… seems her close friends din recall has this qn… so I’m wondering…

One standardized topic for each of the two days of Oral. -
doristan77, don’t worry about what questions the examiner posed to the students. As long as your girl knows how to answer and did answer in the right context, should be sufficient. Now just focus on the prelim. Don’t dwell on it. Don’t question your girl so much. Ask her once and take whatever answer she gave to you and just said "good job" to her. No point planting negative thoughts to her and ended up dwelling on it unnecessarily. Just move on which is the right way.

If Eng and Chinese is harder for 2nd day, then every student will be \"subjected\" to a more different oral (since is different subject on different day), so is fair to allas i mentioned i felt both eng n chinese oral for day 2 is tougher.
for eng, day 1 open house is a common event that most kid would have probably experience. but day 2, speech contest, there is nothing much to elaborate. the child must be quick enough to think of personal experience to say more which how many child have such experiences?
for chinese, library was also one of the test topic in psle 2015 i think. is in the psle booklet. is also about library. moreover, in all the oral practices assessment, library is definitely one of the practice topic. even my p2 practises this topic for his oral. day 1 topic learning from friends is not so straightforward.
