      Love1001,
Have you tried? Any reviews? How different are the answers from the regular exam papers suppliers?

        You can compare the answers

        SCGS/2014/P6/SA2/Q41

        a. What is the aim of Hannah’s experiment ?
The aim of Hannah’s experiment was to find out if the type of material would affect the amount of light that can pass through it.

        b. The clear plastic sheet should have allowed the most amount of light to pass through
The amount of light recorded for the metal sheet should be 0 as it is opaque.

can it be used for DSA for a specific sch or any sch that we select?

DSA is basically an exercise in which the schools select the students they think would suit their needs/ requirements best.

Yes, you can use it for DSA applications but of course, the lesser the \"achievement\", eg. participation vs prize winner vs Olympiad winner, etc... the chances are lower. Besides the achievement in the domain you are applying, it seems that from the DSA threads, other leadership, school results or VIA traits would help to boost the chances. If the school has a choice, obviously the student with the best combination of results (that they want) stands the best chance to be shortlisted.

You can only use this in a relevant domain, in this case, the most applicable would be the Language/ Humanities domain. Again, from the DSA threads, it seems that schools will reject submissions of irrelevant achievements. Eg. if you submit a Piano cert when applying for Track & Field.

So assuming you want to participate in a DSA application, you need to go look for the schools in this list: https://www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/direct-admissions/dsa-sec/languages-and-humanities and see which of the schools offer something your achievement is applicable.

wow… i didnt know 2019 thread already up… Good to have some support for parents ! thank you. Plus I see some familiar nicknames since our kids were like toddlers! Now i dont feel alone!

To be honest, I am struggling to decide if I should send my DD for tuition to "cheong" for PSLE like what most people do… I wonder if its gonna add on to their workload from school in P6, plus taking time out to relax the mind… I hear kids complaining that they are too tired doing tuition homework, spelling plus school. I also had a few friend’s kids who started to hate the subject after PSLE and dont ever want tuitions for say Chinese in Secondary school. One girl even told me she started to hate Chinese because of the "last min" tuition for PSLE…

How many of you are also in my shoes? That we are undecided about sending our kids for grilling PSLE tuitions?

I am taking time off for PSLE so DD has adequate sleep, balanced healthy meals and someone to accompany her in this journey. I am more worried about my DD’s mental health, dealing with puberty, dealing with "STRESS" but we are equally stress so may backfire as my nagging and screaming is starting to get louder and louder…

                        Am I alone?!!!
