Is Term 3 MSG usually bad? My son asked me to prepare for the worst lol!!
For which subjects? DS did not mention anything special. I think still the same. Maybe yr DS worries about not being exempted from EOY exams? :? -
Do we get a results slip at the end of Term 3?

It will probably be posted on ISP, the term 1 and 2 results were also there. Come to think of it, I don't remember buying a report book at the beginning of the year... will there be a report book at the end of the year? -

We bought an A4 black report file, whatever that one sees in IEMB is why is filed… We didn’t even have to sign. Kinda waste of money
The boys will be busy computing their MSG everything term but I don’t think it’s in the term report -

DS is in Sec 2. His CCA is very demanding and taking a lot of time. He is considering whether to take BSP or IP+Bio. Appreciate advise from experienced parents. Could you share your DS’s experience with BSP or Bio subject. Thanks

DD is taking BSP in NYGH. I was surprised initially coz DD is not particularly strong in Chinese nor did she show strong interest in China affairs. From what I hear, it is somewhat like History, except that this is focused very much on China - studying the past, contemporary and future aspects. The lessons are within curriculum time, and the assessment is based on both project work and individual tests. In terms of time commitment, I don't see DD spending too much time on BSP so it seems manageable. So far, DD is enjoying the program but she has classmates who feels otherwise. So it very much depends on individual.
Not sure how the program in HCI differs, perhaps you can talk to the teachers-in-charge. Hope the above sharing helps in your consideration... -
