P6 students who wish to DSA, into St Nick (IP) program :-

wef 2018, our school start to introduce (open up) a new Science Academic domain.

Past years (up to 2017), we do not have this Science academic domain. But from 2018 onwards, have !

No, my daughter is not in the school. We are planning to transfer her to St Nick, so I need feedback. Thank you.

for outside students trying to seek Transfer into St Nick: for each batch, transfer occurred at the end of (P2, P3 and P4). The last call is at end of P4. After end of P4, no more vacancy left, full house !

          Disneyland03:
Noted with thanks. Will ask VP or P if we get transferred successfully.

Reason I ask is because a lot of my friends with daughters in St Nick did not manage to get into St Nick Secondary. Maybe they are not so 'on the ball'. After hearing from you, I am quite assured. Thank you.

Sorry, we are not sure of your friend's past years' particular batch, hence not in any position to comment.

All we know is that, our current 2018 P5 cohort (born 2007) performance is ... Very strong (competitive), based on last year (2017) P4 SA2 year-end streaming results, and also based on our most recent 2018 May P5 SA1 overall cohort level performance, pasted inside our report cards for parents (and P5 students), to assess (review).

Every batch cohort is different, not in position to comment on other past year's batch of students.

Perhaps in future, after your own daughter have successfully transfered into St Nick, we will be delighted to hear from your daughter's unique batch performance. We look forward to that, especially under the new AL PSLE system implemented.

              Dear Parents,

Can I check how many days of PE classes per week for P1? Wanna determine how many sets of PE attire to buy.

              Thank you. πŸ™‚

P1 : usually 3 PE lessons, per week

for a start, buy 3 sets of PE (T-shirt + shorts) first, in case on rainy days, no time to dry, because no hot sun appear.

perhaps buy 2 sets of the same size, plus 1 set one size bigger, in case Semester 2 (2nd half of next year 2019): your girl grow much taller, pinafore become shorter

                  Dear All,

my girl will be starting her P1 next year in St. Nick. May I kindly ask whether there's a need to get the hoodie or cardigan? Or can let my girl wear her own hoodie if she really needs it?

How many sets of uniforms do you think we should get for her?

Thank you for your kind advice! πŸ™‚

                    Regarding cardigan :-
our school sell cardigan (dark navy blue in color, with our St Nick school logo badge cloth sewn in front).

When school open in January 2019, can buy it. There are 2 type of design - cardigan without any hood, plus another type of design, that come with a hood (to cover the head). Both are dark navy blue in color. Choose either one.

Regarding # of sets of uniform -
buy 2 sets. Ensure pinafore touch (at least, cover up to or reach) knee length.

                    P1 : 3x PE, per week.
one week inside (from Monday to Friday) :
on 3 days, students wear PE T-shirt, plus another 2 days students wear white blouse. So, buy 2 sets of white-blouse, will do.

When school open 2019 January - P1 class Form Tr will issue individual classroom timetable. Then, students will know which weekday need to wear PE T-shirt vs. which day wear white blouse, to school.

After school start 2019 next year, sometime in Term 3 (in Semester 2) : Form Tr will inform P1 students which house-colored T-shirt (red / green / blue / yellow) they will be assigned to. Form Tr will then help students, to order their colored house-T-shirt. Note that parents only place an order to buy house colored T-shirt with their Form Tr, once a year only. After the purchase, come every Friday, your daughter is allowed to wear colored house-T-shirt to school, instead of wear normal PE-T-shirt, on Friday. School rule : only on Friday, then permitted to wear color-house T-shirt. Not wear on any other day, during the week.

Only on Friday : students are allowed to wear colored Sports track shoes, to school.

                      Hi phtthp,

Thank you for the info. Received the letter from school last Friday to attend Admin Day (Oct) & Orientation Day (Nov). The letter also informed which class DD is going to and under which house color as well. πŸ˜„
