Yes there was curiosity in editing and accomplished was misspelt word.Is there a word curiosity under the editing part too?
And is accomplished a misspell word or grammatical error under the editing section? -

that 2 marks for one OE question is so hard to get. have to explain and write so much to get 2 marks.bestwishes:
Instead of reducing stress, more stress is added!
Same for science, no 1/2 m but request a lot, missing 1 key point, no 1/2 m then get zero more easily!
OT...even at sec 2, scoring for science is just as tough. Experiment A (1mark). Briefly describe the reason (3 marks).
Try to encourage your kids to score in MCQ for Science as most of the kids cannot answer to the points with the right keywords in OE questions.

for SW, ds wrote email to the Discipline Master instead of the Principal. anyone knows how many marks will deducted?
DD can’t remeber principal or discipline master. It’s ok... it’s over anyway. Stay focus for next few papers.

I have told my boy that PSLE is just another exam and it is not the last.
No matter how the outcome it may be, as long as he put in his effort then there will be no regrets. There is still a long way to go... we have challenges along the way n in every stage of life...
Told my boy, all parents have their challenges as well..... we work on ours and they work on theirs.
Most importantly, lots of hugs are what they needed now.... -

I agree with you fully.
Parents shld just asks generally how the exams was, to assess emotional well-being & give appropriate encouragement or comfort & prod your kids on to bravely face a few more papers & persevere. The process of going through impt tasks is a journey of maturing the child & building them to face greater challenges in adulthood.
Pray all PSLE kids hv a good, restful slumber & be fresh for tmr's paper with a clear mind to read the question carefully & answer sufficiently to the point. -

My boy shared with me that for compo continuous writing he realised that the 1st pic he chosen he mistaken the lady in the pix as an adult but should be student. His compo evolves around the lady facing some life difficulties and managed to tide through after family support.
My boy can write very well but if mistaken the pix will he get zero for this part? Anyone knows what is the 1st pix? I did not want to ask him much altho he shared briefly with me. Told.him it is ok but i sort of feeling sorry for him as he has been getting high range marks for all his compo -
Not to worry, whitecarla. Last year, the topic was ‘ A Gift’. The picture showed a young man but my son wrote him as an old man. Both of us were so worried till the extent that I called his school teacher to clarify. It’s actually ok.
If you look at the SEAB.gov.sg for English PSLE Continuous Writing, so long your son kept within the topic, he should be fine.

Tks pkpl for your sharing :)..phew i was worried yest and i think my boy felt that he had messed up. After i assure him it is ok he looks ok. Really hope he feel.ok inside..

In page 5 of the above link, the last sentence of Paper 1 (Writing) states that ‘Candidates may also come up with their own interpretation of the topic’. This is the official website which is an additional assurance to what the school teacher had said. So ask your DS not to worry at all, 加油！
