]

            Anne had 160 beads in the end.
            Can you elaborate more on this question?
Anne had a total of 285 red and blue beads at first. She gave away 45 red beads and 40% of the blue beads. The ratio of the number of red beads left to the number of blue beads left was 1: 3.

            (a) What fraction of blue beads were given away?

            (b) How many beads did Anne have left?
You can remember the question so well!!
The person who remembers the question in such details deserves an A* for memory!

                      No mid year exams for P3, P5 , Sec 1 and Sec 3 going forward:

                      Schools are doing away with CA1 and CA2 and now with this news of doing SA2. You know parents will be the ones jumping up and down at the end of the year to find out the results and the ones who benefits will be tuition agencies who get good business because of these parents. Food for thought, by removing away exams, it will not take away the stress. There is formative assessments and and summative assessments. I can share that the number of top school past years exam paper will reduced in quantity but increased in quality. It is a bad move.

                      Good luck to future batch of P5s.

                        Surprised that this year's math is not as challenging as last year's, hope that Chinese and Science would not be too challenging too.

                        I can expect P6 2019 PSLE Maths paper to be a killer paper. This is the first year of the new maths syllabus of PSLE. No doubt it will be easy but I worry for next year P6s who have to be very Maths-inclined in order to score high. Brace yourself, parents of children taking PSLE 2019.
