I wouldn't say it's easy... Booklet A is very easy but Booklet B has a few unexpected and challenging questions...
That’s exactly what my DD says...she told me it’s slightly tougher than prelim for booklet B. Not sure if her Sch prelim is set too easy -

Anybody knows how to draw the circuit diagram in booklet B?
My DS thought it is not really a circuit diagram, so he did not draw the cells. Does anyone know what is the question? -

Now that PSLE is almost completely over for most kids, if they're still keen & curious, it's good to encourage them to pursue for the right answer.shirishj:
why does the banana grow upwards
My Google search say because of negative geo-tropism. :faint:
In other words, bananas grow upwards because they grow upwards.
In cng15 answer is correct & of course we do not expect a P6 able to explain full scientific process.

\"Bananas go through a unique process known as negative geotropism. Instead of continuing to grow towards the ground, they start to turn towards the sun. The fruit grows against gravity, giving the banana its familiar curved shape.
But why? The answer lies in the botanical history of the banana. It originated in the middle layer of the rainforest, where there is little sunlight. If the fruit were to grow towards the small amount of light that penetrates sideways through the vegetation, the plant could overbalance and topple over.
So bananas developed a way of growing towards the light without destabilising the plant.\" -
My DS said it is mentioned in the question that unripe banana has chlorophyll, so the ans is probably about growing upwards to get maximum sunlight for photosynthesis.

My kid said the science paper not super hard type but there were a few challenging questions.

Yea. Overall paper need some thinking processing. Adaptation qn was challenging. MCQ was quite ok. There was one mcq about pollination. Something about what Z is being pollinated by…anyone have any idea?

My DS found the Science exam easier than last year but that does not mean it is easy. I understand the Science paper last year is quite difficult. It seems MCQ is easy but Booklet B (OEQ) has a few unexpected and challenging questions as mentioned by others.aSecStudentFrom2019:

What is the answer for the question on the magnet ‘ding’ and ‘dong’?

My DS said it is not too hard but not easy either as there are some challenging questions.
