How much $$ do you spend on kid’s tuition per month?
-
I spent $700 on my daughter’s Chinese tuition per quarter. That is about $240 per month. My daughter is Sec 4 this year.
-
$180 on DD1 Maths and $700 on DD2 enrichment. Will need to cut down on DD2 enrichment next year as it is on the high side.
-
an average of 200-300 / subject / month over 3-4 subjects comes up to about $600-1200/ month… those who can ‘afford to pay lesser’ really have to drive their kids everyday for the subjects unless kids r self motivated.

For my Sec 2 dd, no tuition but I spend a lot on sports and dance.
For my psle dd, so far only Cl tuition but intend to stop all once goes to Sec sch. Also spend on dance. -
Finally tahan till my DD1 finished her Grade 8 Piano last week. Savings of $280 will now go to DS2 and DD3 higher piano fees as they move to next grade level.
DD1,DS2 and DD3 tuition are at home, paid abit more for 1-1 and also to save on travelling time. Tuition fees including piano more than $4k per month. -

sometimes i wonder y i send mine for lessons too.. when i have to chase them for practicing! -
If they can practise by themselves, don’t think I need tutors already. They asked for help as they have been failing and struggling. I don’t get tutors to improve their grades if they are already doing ok. Too much stress and financially draining.
