The school is able to intake maximum 50% of students for DSA. So don't think is able to provide the breakdown for the respective category like Leadership, Music, Innovation & Art.
Technically 50% is correct, but when my son was going thru the DSA exercise last year the IP schools told us that they would be taking in no more than 1/3 via DSA last year. This is the total number including sports, aesthetic and various academic channels. -

IB parents
1. Project grades are subjective. Do your kids’teachers give feedback on improvement areas? If pure grading of marks, how do they know how to improve?
2. Based on your observations, does the school coordinate the project timeline across all subjects? What time does your kid sleep everyday n do they need work weekends as well?
3. Under the name of independent learning, will the students be given a subject topic n asked to learn on their own? -
Hi,
For those parents whose kids had gone through the GAT test, may I ask how do you prepare for it? -
My son took the test last year for DSA, but I can’t help you coz he didn’t prepare at all. Are you asking for DSA or the Sec 3 intake? Coz I think they have stopped GAT for DSA

Hi
Do the sec 1 need to bring laptop for their studies? If yes, how many times a week need to bring to school? Thanks. -
Hi,
Anyone’s boy got in via DSA under Innovation domain? What are the obligations to be fulfilled?
Thanks! -
my son is DSA-ed innovation last year (this year sec 1). As far as I know, he has priority booking for Maker’s Jam sessions (on Wednesdays) and in the last term (maybe a little longer, I can’t really remember), he’s has to go for Innovation Lab sessions (also on Wednesdays). These are not considered CCA, they are at the last 2 periods of the school day. Think my son mentioned that they’re supposed to (hopefully) work towards representing the school in Innovation competitions in upper sec. That’s about it I think

Thanks fable. This helps.
Not much is mentioned on the DSA page except 6 years obligations to the Innovation Program. -
Abit confused on their IP leading to A levels/ IB… what other routes do they have?
If IP means 6 yrs and continue on to SJI in the same premises but they have an A level route too, year 5-6. That admits both genders with the relevant points. If SJI boy, then will continue on with bonus point for affiliation?
If admitted to IP but don’t do well, can choose to join o level track? What happens to boys who don’t do well? Is there a track record of retaining students?
