      Estéema:

Ppl are missing Pek Kio mkt so newly revamped mkt brings ppl together. :grphug:

But I didn’t expect to meet so many familiar faces there and I was wearing my PJ there :yikes: (old T-shirt and shorts) and didn’t even comb my hair ! :faint:

:rotflmao: but leeyl you dont have to worry too much la..I agree with esteema, just be yourself..my dh also lost hope with me..I always tell him, it is like that one..I find esp our profession lor, outside work/weekend/when attend classes, many wear like as if they are at home 😂 maybe many people like that too..not all but quite many. And also, now at this age, the more I realise youth is really important, for you all still relatively young, no problem, still pretty.

I made use of today’s public holiday to hold a farewell/graduation party for my son’s P2 class. The bond they have built up is so strong and worth commemorating.

Next year they will be reshuffled into bigger P3 classes liao. I’m quite melancholy to be saying goodbye to the other parents of this class. It’s so nice when there is no pressure from streaming leading to a competitive streak or infighting among the class parents! We came together to plan & throw together this party for the kids to let them have a final gathering before they move on. We end the school year of 2018 with plenty of fond memories and pics!

The girls love the chandelier very much. I also like it and it is bright enough for their bedroom! :rahrah:

For the other room, currently there is only 1 lighting point. We decided to change the ceiling light to a ceiling fan with light, BUT we were worried the room may not be bright enough.

So decided to install 4 more downlights to go with ceiling fan but since there was only 1 power point, I couldn’t switch off the downlights or else there would be no electricity supply to my fan. 😓

Almost gave up till I came with with the idea of installing lights that its on/off could be controlled by remote control. Salesman introduced me to LED track lights where it can change into 16 million colours and it actually blends in nicely with my new KDK ceiling fan. Looks trendy. Cool ! :rahrah:

Good eyesights! The windows on the left not exactly curved but L-shaped. Their bedroom now very sweet looking, heehee...

Cosy little corner big enough for 2 kids to sit down there to read books or chit chat. Yes, that’s the original plan.

But... when reality sets in, the girls actually dump their school bags there! It is the messy corner!! :rotflmao:
