      Dino:
      To hit 230 :

if Raw score, per each 4 subject can reach 80, Total around 320 (80 x 4) upon 400, possible.

      To hit 245 :
if Raw score, per each 4 subject can reach 85, Total around 340 (85 x 4) upon 400, possible.

Morning all, I was reading this. Very informative but leads me to another question. if 85 marks which is already quite high score (or maybe not low at all) can hit only ard 245, how to hit 250+, 260+ or even 270+ that some kids gotten? that means its as good as having to get at least 90+ for all 4 subjects individually at least hit 250+? and 260+ and 270+ scores would have some full marks in the 4 subjects with the rest at least close to full marks? Thanks.
      Example (Average 95 marks x 4 subjects) x 0.72 Conservatively = 273

These are all approximations depending on how optimistic the multiplication factor is.

As a quick guide, the total score of the 4 subjects is multiplied by 0.72 (conservative estimate) to 0.75 (optimistic estimate) to get the t-score. You can get the rough score needed to hit a certain T-score in this way.

        Eg. Average 85, total 340.
        Conservative estimate: 340 * 0.72 = 244.8 ~ 245
        Optimistic estimate: 340 * 0.75 = 255

ok thanks Zappy. understand better now. I first time so very noob at all these. Is there a chance that the factor can go as low as 0.7? possible?

It’s just a rule of thumb - all estimates only.

Don’t scare yourself too much with even lower multiplication-factors.
These are just for you to approximate what the score could be.
Then you can work on certain areas/ subjects to hit the target t-score for certain schools.

There are many online platform such as owlsmart learning out of the box etc. Anyone tried and found any online good where kids can try the exam paper n gives rewards to kids when they do well. They can be motivated. Appreciate your help. Thank you

Any schools still give out academic awards to say top 3 or 5 in the class? Can share what’s the total % score to get such awards in your school for P5? >90% or >95% etc…
