I have checked with Kidz Treehouse and Morning Star, both are full.
Any reviews on Careland?

Hi any parents here currently having their children taking the holy innocent school bus? Any idea why is it the feedback on the bus vendor (Min Yang) service is so bad year still get the bid? Their school bus fees seems to be higher than other school bus vendor.
Cos the demand for sch bus is low for HIPS. A lot are staying very near the school, just walk to school. No other vendor was interested to bid we were told. -

230 bucks for one way and i am only living in Hougang Ave 7 area, less than 5 minutes drive from the school. I was told that if i want cheaper option (145 per way) my girl will be the last one to be dropped off and its an hour ride before she can be home.
do we have other options?

I love to take Grabshuttle Plus (different from above) between Ponggol, Sengkang & Hougang which are less accessible from MRT. -

Talk to your school P or VP directly, have a word with them privately, any way to change this rip-off school bus operator ? -

Other options:
Walk. Depending on which part of Hougang Ave 7 you live in, a walk to Lorong Low Koon is less than 1km (time: max. 15mins).
Bus, and by that I mean public buses. It's only 1 bus stop be it from Upper Serangoon Road or Hougang Ave 7 (time: if you forget to dig out the ezlink card from you bag beforehand, you may not even have time to tap before you need to get off the bus).
PMD. You will probably recoup the cost in a couple of months.
Unless you are thinking that by sending the child up the school bus, the parent(s) would be free from the routine of sending the child to school, $145 / $230 would be a very reasonable price for the privilege. -
