Reading can be built up with parents. Please practice reading with him regularly (100 words long paragraph) to build up fluency and confidence. Video conversation there’s guidelines and scoring which only teachers may know. Parents may reinforce to him to speak Mandarin and offer his opinions on surrounding issue.
Compo does he have basic structure? Pls catch up on Intro/ Conclusion / Descriptions by memorizing and testing. You may get 好词佳句 Compo phrase book from bookstores. if you can identify his particular weakness, work on it. I.E poor sentence construction: read story book, practice essay writing. Many wrong words written: practice 听写 on common compo words.
Main Paper: Go through 5AB words repeatedly. target him to score for MCQ, drill MCQ. Open-Ended if can target 1-2 marks per question very good already. -

Hi bestwishes, thanks for the update. I may have overlooked this point (Upper Vs Lower Block) as I was also browsing PSLE Science books (which covers the whole PSLE Syllabus).
Is Systems -> Electrical Systems in this Guide Book?
I will check it out again when I visit Popular next time.

This book is very good for PSLE Sc preparation for lower block topics. (But not recommended for students who do not have any basic concepts for the topics.)
Both; doing new topics in P6; at the same time doing revision papers for P3 to P5 and strengthen the weaker topics.blur_mum:
