There may be disappointment. Important thing is for parents to be encouraging and for kids to be resilient and push on in sec school.

there will be tears of joy as well as disappointment...no matter what happens, please remember to show your kids you still love them.

Results out ... some performed better at Prelim, than in Psle.

Tell them \"never mind. Is all right. The past is already over. Keep moving on forward. Look ahead, dont look back. Primary school life was over ! The best is yet to be, stride forward bravely. A new journey begin. \"

Besides Henry Park, any other school also flashed out onto overhead projector, a name-list of their Top scorers ?

So right. We were done in 15 minutes, including the prayers to calm the nerves. 😄

15 minutes! I'm turning green with envy. Your child did ok?

If overall performance is better than past years, does it mean the COP will be higher for all schools? Do we need to consider that when choosing the secondary school?

I assume you are referring to overall PSLE performance. “Overall performance” is one of those PC but ultimately meaningless term. The specifics matter.

                    Overall in terms of what?
No. of passes? That won’t affect COP.
No. of express passes? The scores will most likely be distributed. The schools near to the end of the COP (188 to 200) may see a lot of changes while those at the top (> 240) are more likely to be affected by students’ demand and preferences.

In short, not all schools are affected.

Yes, he did. He exceeded our expectations so we are happy for him. Thanks for asking.
