Seems like girls on the whole did better than boys at PSLE level.

yah lor, looks like more brainy girls when they are young - more disciplined n focused - i noted this trend has been around for many years le ... i think even in sec sch, more girls perform better - BUT more boys do catch up a lot in Jc / uni - when they catch up,, the speed graph is exponential :scared:

is there even a tertiary trend that is gg around?

Just to let you know that MOE now has included the \"median scores\" in addition to the low and high scores needed for a secondary school admission. Even in the \"Choosing your Secondary Schools\" booklet that every P6 student has, only the low and high scores are shown. This new median score might be useful in choosing your sec school.

girls in general do better at psle compared to boys. however most boys catch up at secondary level.

Haha. Middle (ie mean) isn’t helpful in this instance since one fellow can spoil the whole market, but thanks for the computation.

I usually leave it to excel to do the job.

Floppy, it is not mean also. For mean, it has to take into account all the students' T-score i.e. add up all the t-scores and then divide by the number of students. I am Maths nerd lah. So, this bothers me
