      Is 285 the highest tscore for last year PSLE?

        Yay! Now 3pm over, now can hang around this particular thread and talk rocks for 3 weeks or so until 19 November. :celebrate:


        Statistics and T-score question. Would it be fair to say that 240 would usually be around the top 15.9%, seeing as 240 would be on average exactly 1 standard deviation away from the mean for all 4 subjects? :scratchhead:

        Give or take a bit for the difference between mean and median, but seeing the large population size of >39,000, shouldn't be very far right?

            If that girl went to SAP school, it will be reflected as 288, if the girl went to non-SAP school, it will be reflected as 285.

                :whut: 288 ?![/quote]To be more accurate, it is 285 + 3. The girl went to a non-SAP school, so it should be recorded as 285 for that school. But because she DSA-ed, this highest score was not officially reflected on the MOE website πŸ˜„
