Be aware when you buy 2018 P6 Jeremy Exam Paper. The watermark is overlapping the answer sheet. Do check before you buy.

        Dear Parents,

I am an ex-MOE teacher with 14 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Through feedback from many students who had taken previous PSLEs, practicing and understanding past years’ questions are fundamental to expand their skill sets and get used to the vocabulary used by SEAB in the questions. This will also enable students to handle the exams better with less pressure due to time constraints during their own exams.
I will be undertaking a personal project in the coming year to reset parallel PSLE Math questions for Standard Mathematics from years 2009 - 2018 using similar language. I will also provide detailed discussions and explanations on the concepts each question is testing as well as the best solutions to use.
Please drop me a WhatsApp message with your email address at 92792813 if you are interested to take up an active role to prepare your child/ward to achieve A/A* for Math in next year’s exams.
        Thank you.

Yes, Jeremy Exam paper watermark presence is irritating, when u try to read the answers.

Not all past year Exam papers service providers managed to supply 2018 P6 Prelim (SA2) papers, for these 3 special schools, namely -

          Raffles Girls primary,

          Nan Hwa primary,

          Nanyang primary.

A lot of providers could supply other schools' 2018 P6 Prelim papers, like managed to supply for ACS, MGS, SCGS, CHIJ, Tao Nan, Henry Park, Rosyth, Catholic High, Pei Hwa, Pei Chin, etc. but not for above 3 schools, indicated.

Anyone know, which specific Exam paper Service provider (name) managed successfully to supply, or that u had personally purchased from this service provider before, and had confirmed (counter-checked) that the thick pile of 2018 P6 Prelim Exam papers inside do contain these 3 schools' papers that we are looking for ? From where (which shop or push-cart), did u buy from ?

          Thank you.

for P6, what to buy with regards to practicing qns? for printed papers to buy Jeremy Exam Papers? can get from the bldg next to nlb where Popular is? Are those past years papers too?

I been downloading past year papers from sgtestpapers till P5…wonder if that’s sufficient?

Do they include Prelim papers too or need buy another stack? looks like equivalent to SA2 from phtthp’s post…which I suppose the usual Past year top school exam papers yeah…

In short, what are the papers do we usually practice to prep for psle? Thanks in advance too.

The problem with downloading testpapers is that you need to spend lots of ink and blank paper printing them out... and you need thick slabs of completed test papers to revise or simply get the sense of achievement 😂 . That costs more money and effort than simply buying testpapers in bulk.

What do you guys do with completed test papers? Throw them away?

It might make sense for them to look through what they did, at least to reinforce the learning. Or simply for bragging rights 😂
I don't know. I just make a ceremony of the throwing away their old test papers at the end of the year... my kids love that.

One good thing about printing the papers ourselves is we can choose to omit certain sections - e.g. 2019 Pri 5 will find the MCQ section in 2018 Pri 5 papers ‘irrelevant’ due to change in CL textbook.

Another advantage is we can ‘control’ how the pages turn out - for those papers which removed the ‘blank page’ formatting. We can print the comprehension passage on 1 paper (blank side can be used as rough paper in the future) and then have the questions printing on another piece - to save the kids the hassle of flipping the papers repeatedly.

On a side note, do note that the answer sheets (for CL papers, at least) are created by the company which printed the papers, not from school. This is why for sections like comprehension, no detailed mark allocation breakdown is provided. I have seen wrong way of answer presentation (such as CL’s 从哪里可以看出 type of question - where the answer involves more than 1 point, i.e. not 1 direct sentence as well as HCL’s 选择最适合的题目 type of question). Do seek school teacher or tutor’s advice for the last ~3 question of these sections to gauge your child’s progress.
