Did cop really drop 5 points to 259?? Anyone can confirm? Not sure if it’s bc Dsa places fell or bc of new P??

If i am not wrong, nyps did not do so well this year, as such, places taken by affiliation dropped...

Why NYPS girls didn't do well this year (2018), compared to past years ? :?
Think so. Heard Nanyang Primary didn’t do well this year. Last year for those who scored 25X probably would have gotten only 24X this year.

Or Maybe last year’s COP 264 was way too high? I’ve got 2 friends’ kids scored just below 260 this year. But last year’s high COP deterred them to put NYGH as first choice. Now they are in another all girls schools. If I got 258 or 259, unlikely I would put NYGH as 1st choice.
Yes lol many would be overjoyed and lots of transfers applications

will they be allow to appeal or transfer?
Thought no more allow this year?

Allowed to Transfer, provided had met NYGH Cut-off-point.

If don't meet Cut-off-point, Ministry don't allow u to appeal
I see, thanks 🙂

This year’s nyps cohort generally not as strong as other years. And normally, those top students in school are dominated by girls (like total clean sweep) but this year’s cohort is a bit different, boys quite strong. I remember when my DC was in P2, a T shared that many gals in his class, maths not good.

Dimsum, you work for MOE? Lol.

Like how many boys/girls did well this year, last year PSLE top scorer etc. I notice your info is very accurate and you seem to know a lot. :salute:

Not every parent’s “hearsay” is accurate, btw!

She who dares, win. Don’t have to be lucky, after all, they deserve to go to a good SAP school.

Scoring a Distinction in HCL is non trivial and it’s not as if everyone who takes HCL can get that +3!

Experienced parents, is it necessary to buy all the books listed in the booklist? Is it better to buy ebook or the physical book?

I am interested to know too. Read that we need to get IPAD for our child? Is it needed in Sec 1 and iPAD Pro ? (12.9??)
