      Hi justanotheranon,

Congratulations 🙂 !!! Is your COP equal 258 or above, for Appeal to go through successfully ?

Equal 258 inclusive of hcl score only 😓 not that high, but at least can go NYGH :rahrah:
:thankyou: for the congrats! I must say, though, I don't think the successful appeal was due to merit, but rather the performance of the students during interview 🤷 some people interviewed for about 30mins, others less than 10 minutes finish already! 😂

U received the appeal outcome right after interview?

After 2018 P6 students had finished their last PSLE paper, by first week of October 2018, do P6 students still need to go back to their primary school ? Or no need, since PSLE already over ? If they still go back, what do they do in school ? Thank you, for info

They still have to attend school till term 4 ends. Different schools will have different activities planned for the students.

Yes, P6 students still need to go back to school.
Parents can write letter of excuse to the principal to bring their kids for holidays (beat the crowd).
Some activities planned for my DD school:
              (1) Class outing to Geylang Serai
              (2) Social Etiquette class in a hotel for the kids
              (3) All P6 are tasked to plan and organize a jumbo sale (with the form teacher help), where they put up game booth etc. Proceeds go to a charity of the school's choice.
              (4) Play board games in class.
              (5) Rehearsal for end of year graduation
              (6) etc

I don't think much has change in the last few decades for P6sers. I remember enjoying P6 after PSLE for quite awhile while waiting for the results. That's when we had the most boring lessons on Malay 😂 and we brought chess sets to beat boredom after the exams. Too bad those good old days have to end...

We took kids on holiday 2 days after PSLE. School organizes trips to diff museums, Police Force, Airforce, P6 Camps, etc.

Have to go back unless on holiday. School has MANY enjoyable activities for the children! My DD went to so many places, and even when not going out on field trips, can play Monopoly in class... very fun and just play and play only until graduation. 😂 my DD was even VERY excited to wake up and get to school because of all the fun activities

My girl wil be Sec 3 in NYGH.
The new principal who took over from Mdm Heng in 2018 is very different. Students see big gap between former Principal Mdm Heng & the new P.
The new P spent lesser time on students.
I am not surprised the NYGH cutoff dropped fr 264 to 258.
