Regards the 04Jan’s night event, anybody know if girls need to stay back till 8pm, or it is just purely a school-parent event?

For girls staying in sk / punggol, has the sch bus vendor contacted you? What is your pickup time?

The school does not provide MS Office, but you can try using your dd’s RGS email to register for a free MS Office educational license. May not need to buy one separately. I am hesitant to post this publicly because I have not personally verified this, but some parents had shared that it had worked for them, so RGS parents, you can try to see if it works for you too.

According to tradition, there will be a RGS initiation ceremony in the evening of the last day of orientation, likely the 4 Jan 8pm night event you are referring to. The girls will also be passing on the \"flame\" with candles, and parents are invited to join in too. An awesome and touching experience I would say, enjoy!

based on the orientation info kit, the girls need to be in school from 7.25-8.15pm on Friday 3 Jan.
We probably will go back together with them.
By the way, what do they need to bring for orientation? Just money and water bottle right?
Thursday need to bring change of clothes (PE Attire). -
I may ask my DD bring a thin coat. Four years ago, my niece mentioned some schoolmates caught cold in the first week because air con was too strong.
