      Hi Parents

My girls keep losing their belts and the uniform shop refuses to sell just the belts alone. Any one has any idea where I can purchase similar belts?
      :?:

Sorry i can’t help with where to buy new belts.

But I have a tip for not losing them again in future...and several other girls schools with pinafores do this:

Use a sewing machine to sew the belts onto the pinafore, permanently, on the left side. Then they will never again get detached.

P/S: Have u tried asking the General Office whether they have any spare belts in their Lost & Found Box? That could be a good source of unclaimed belts.

Good hack! thank you Zac's mum.

Thanks for the tip Zac's Mum. Unfortunately, I already have lesser belts than pinafores, and we have to keep re-using the belts instead of throwing them into the wash together with the pinafores. I need to get more belts before I can use your hack 😂

Hi all, I tried to find some information regarding PV in RGPS but couldn't find any. Has anyone here done PV at RGPS before? What exactly does the PV do? The PV application form requires a proposal for a list of areas in the form but I am not sure whether it is to teach those areas or assist the current teachers etc. Can anyone help? Thanks very much

Hi, I would like to check whether any details have been shared by anyone. Thx.

I was PV at RGPS a few years back. I listed down the skill and area in which I could contribute to the school. It need not be teaching the students but you can list down your special skills or new ideas that you think could be beneficial to the school and the students.

My brother is considering RGPS for his kid this year. But we heard that RGPS is becoming less focused on academics in the recent years and some friends told us in the next few years, expect RGPS’ PSLE results to drop! Any current parents can share your views on this?

We have a close friend whose child got high 90% in P1 last year but did not get any award. Does this mean RGPS stopped giving the Edusave Outstanding Academic Achievement award for top 25% for the Primary 1 last year or the standard for P1 is VERY high? Anyone knows what overall % will get top 25% or top 10%? Thanks!
