Wonder what are the chances of COP remaining unchanged at 10 for science for this year’s intake.

Any new drastic changes to EJC 2019 admission JAE intake herself, this year ?

If no change, should remain stable at 10 points (Science).

The two new 2019 JAE (O-level) intake at (Dunman High & River Valley High) are small, doubt it will impact the Cut-off-Point of Eunoia JC or other JC, significantly.

Dunman High & River Valley High : how many vacancies, newly created ? Around 80 seats x 2 High school, Total equal 160 seats.

With these new, extra 160 seats, will it cause Eunoia JC, to "shake" her 10-points (Science) admission entry ?

        ================================

Potentially, next year (2020) scenario might be different.

        a)

Around 22 Feb 2019 (Friday) this year, Eunoia JC will release her pioneering first batch of 2018 GCE "A" level performance. Many people (parents, students, those working in the Education sector) will be looking at this first batch of A-level performance.

If this first batch able to produce stellar, outstanding A-level results, then Yes, next year (2020) Eunoia JC admission COP might be affected, since this can cause a demand of JAE students to be admitted into EJC, then it won’t just remain at 10 points (Science) anymore.

        b)

Another 2nd reason that can possibly "shake up" EJC COP, is the actual date of shifting EJC, from her temporary "53, Mount Sinai Road" occupancy, to her permanent address at junction of sin Ming road.

Once confirmed shifting over permanently to the new Sin Ming site, many JAE students will be attracted to study at the new EJC, since the new campus is so sprawlingly beautiful, integrated with state-of-the-art-technology, high-tech lecture theatre, beautiful library, plus other brand new interesting facilities, all ready in-place to utilise (consume). Then, admission Cut-off-point won’t be 10 points anymore.

The library is very lovely, students can do research inside library, as both the library and caferaria (canteen) overlook the spacious, lush, serene greenery Bishan Park

phtthp, the new campus will be at the junction of Sin Ming Avenue and Marymount Road. It’s more accurate to call it the Sin Ming campus. (Or the school website calls it Bishan campus because the general greater housing estate/town is Bishan)

Marymount MRT is a very far distance away, so to call it the Marymount campus may mislead people into thinking it is waking distance from Marymount MRT.

When people mention “Marymount site”, there is actually another very famous school located right near the Marymount MRT.

What's the historical JAE intake seats? is the 200 apply for both Arts and Science stream?

Here is H1 and H2 subject combination, at EJC

                https://eunoiajc.moe.edu.sg/curriculum/subject-combinations/

Do you notice that Eunoia JC only offered CSC (China Studies in Chinese), not CSE (China Studies in English) ?

A number of other Junior Colleges offer both CSE and CSC, if go check their JC website.

Why doesn't EJC offer CSE, as well ? Why restrict only to CSC ?

EJC offers the BSP (Bicultural Studies Programme) which is an MOE special programme and comes with a scholarship for some students. CSC is a prerequisite to be in the BSP.
