The questions inside "psle specimen " are taken from actual past PSLE years, a specimen from one of the past years

You are right. PSLE specimen papers are \"Based on latest PSLE science syllabus and examination format\" and \"closely modelled after past year PSLE papers\". They are not past PSLE papers or questions.

Thanks so much for the inputs. My dd has no CA1 but been identified for remedial class this term though her p5 SA2 was 70+ haha stress man.... I shall start to sit down and take a look at all the papers and do planning after CNY liao. Now still like a bit nua cos dont know where to start. This is my one and only one psle year so really dont know what to do... haha. :stupid:

Don't know what your daughter's targeted schools are, so can't really tell if the 70+ is going to be enough. Assuming 75/ subject, the T-score will be around 215-225.

Without a CA1, you will only know the her graded peer performance after SA1 - which will be too late for any major rescue effort. So to answer your earlier question, no - it is not too early to get the schools past yr papers to do. If too nuah now to prepare - you may not be able to recover time later on - and the year goes by very quickly in P6.

You can get the papers at Bras Basah or neighborhood mall carts. Alternatively, you can also get them from Jeremy Papers for delivery. They are categorised by schools' CA1/ SA1/ CA2/ Prelims, so you can get her to do the CA1 ones first - which should cover what she is being taught in school now.

Once all the syllabus is complete, then you can try the official past yr PSLE papers (get from Popular) and gauge her level to get the estimated T-score/ school selection.

P6. I doubt there is time to even complete all the P6 papers, much less go back and do papers for P3, P4, P5 & P6. Besides, the PSLE covers P3-6 topics in the exam itself with heavier emphasis on the latter topics. So just start with the P6 CA1 and move along as the year progresses with SA1, CA2 & prelims.

Yes, you can buy the past 3 year PSLE papers from Popular Bookstore. They come in a book form with the 3-years printed on it. For now, it should be \"2016 - 2018\". If you want the actual PSLE papers, make sure you get these instead of the \"specimen papers\".
