lee_yl, hope you are fine now. Was shocked to hear your ordeal. I happened to be in such about 5 years ago. Still doing scope every 2 years as instructed.

Try to adopt cleansing colon regime on a regular basis by adopting high fibre diet, drinks loads of water or once in a week do a salt water flush especially those who constipated alot. Eat less fatty food. But before doing all these, I suggest you talk to a professional dietician who is aware of your medical condition. As doing these regime may have side effects like nausea, vomiting, cramping lah....etc. The dietician will better advice you on these.

Stay cool. Don't think too much. Stress can also be a factor.
Ya. Really, really hope she’s recuperating well after she gets treatment at Mt E Novena. Hvnt heard fr her & no response. I’m hoping that’s bcoz she needs all the rest she cld get to get well & healthy and her family supports her well towards speedy recovery.

Miss you lee_yl. 💋 with thots of u for good health & happiness!

Yeah Estee…damn busy. Move and unpack within 5 days. Getting everything ready for the boys and hubby. And then getting ready for CNY. All within a week. Really tough. Managed smoothly especially with the boys’ help.

        在这欢乐的时节给你和家人我最真的祝福和亲切的思念,愿你今年的新年比往年更璀璨。恭贺新禧,祝身体健康、事业发达。 祝孩子们学业进步,金榜题名!

Praying very hard for her full recovery. 🙏

Received no response fr her, but assume she’s in good hands & her family members taking good care of her & resting at home to recuperate.

it must have been super busy moving and getting settled. I know that feeling...the timing is so important because the kids need to settle down before school started.

I finally have some Me time today after working the past 3 full-days at office due to a once-off training workshop. After this experience, I’m quite sure I don’t want to go back to being a FTWM.

By the time I finished my work day (~5pm), endured the slow traffic to my mum’s place, sat down to a quick dinner (lovingly prepared by my mum), played with my toddler niece and chatted with everyone, it was time to rush back home for shower & leftover homework (kiddo couldn’t complete because the reference material was at home instead of Grandma’s house!) Exhausted and fell into bed way past normal bedtime. Next morning kid sleepy and cranky, and me too.

I’m sure there are much more efficient ways to do this (which real FTWMs do), but I feel there’s just not enough bonding time with my kid. (The homework time does not count as joyful bonding!) Time just flies past while everyone is busy rushing and cranky with no down time.
