          No.

          3/4 correct.
MTPS is a branch activity. (PAP or other party) which is not a PA group.

the last 1/4, go and find out yourself when you are at the branch.

Wherever you volunteer, the phase 2b applies to schools in the GRC you reside in and no where else. Even if u volunteer in Bishan you cannot get TPY CHIJ, if u stay near Henry Park.

So if volunteer in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC can only apply to school in sub-constituency of residency (and not any school within entire GRC)?

              guys,
              new and old.

let us take a step back and think of why you want to join RC/NC as volunteers. (reasons)
the benefits comes in later...... when you least expect it. (incentives)

don't mix up the both and join because of incentives leh....
If not, your heart won't be at the correct place to do good to your neighbors.
I agree with skii wholeheartedly, but sometimes I do ask myself is it still worth to volunteer for PA as I sensed a shift in the way PA manages their volunteers. They bring in yes men who seek the benefits rather than keeping passionate but vocal volunteers. I feel that PA's dealings with residents nowadays are more top down instead of ground up recently.

Just to share, my new estate is filled with young volunteers who are looking at incentives given by PA because the first thing they asked when confirmed is how to apply for special parking coupon and the RC does not seems to have direction, they doesn't even have a RC centre despite setting up 3 years ago. And the worst part is the RC members don't bother to engage residents other than coming up with a few events a year which was bestowed by the CC, and they don't even dare to acknowledge they are RC members when asked. :slapshead:

You can apply for schools within the whole GRC, the letter for P2B will state the schools you can apply. But bearing in mind that the electoral boundaries can change during election years so the school that you are targeting might not be within your GRC boundaries should that be changes. hope this helps.

                      cannot blame them.

I'm the people who designed the incentive system did not envision it to deteriorate to today's state (at your estate at least)

I feel that there is a need to come up with a proper framework that have clear and measurable milestones to gauge the volunteers. This will help PA to properly manage their volunteers and to ensure transparency. But highly unlikely that PA will change as this will result in a huge loss in the number of volunteers.
