'Curious' until you had to sneak into other JC's hall on results day to snap pictures of other JC's slides? I cannot believe this. But why? What are you trying to prove? Prove that your granddaughter made the right choice?

. I recall 2 years ago, one fanatic even sneaked into EJC Open House to look at the gym. Goodness, poor Eunoia. So many creepy and curious people stalking your JC.

Yes. I remember the sneaking into the gym of EJC incidence. That was by mindays who was eyeing NYJC for his child.
This Grandyma bears great resemblance to minday.
Her granddaughter in NYJC ? No wonder she is so upset about EJC's good performance.

      Me not upset.😉
Already said other than AC n TJ, other top tier JCs including NJC did better.

Wa, you deleted your post very fast hor. Anyway, I read it.

I don’t understand your mindset, if EJC parents feel that the Pioneer batch students and Teachers had produced good results (despite facing teething challenges as a brand new JC), and comment that the school has done “very well”, why must you react in such a manner?

Your “grand Daughter” is in another JC. If EJC parents are happy and feel happy for the school, 关你屁事! As an outsider, who are you to say, EJC parents shouldn’t say “very well”?

We are all educated, we all know how to read numbers, so pls stop repeating yourself like a broken record.

I deleted as I was repeating my answer which was: i have EJC subjects grades and NJC Medium and RP better....
Also I didnt sneak into EJC hahaaa
EJC did well...not \" very well\"- dont mislead the public. its true.
If EJC can work on its Sciences more and CSC , with its IP students calibre, Im sure it will do \"very well\".
Ah, it did very well for Arts -80% A.

Glad that you actually know you are repeating yourself over and over again, like a broken record.

This is the EJC home thread for EJC parents to network so I don’t see anything wrong when happy EJC parents said “very well”. I am also ok with “Alas, my Friend’s Son didn’t do well”. So why must you get so agitated? All these are called misleading the public? We can only praise your granddaughter’s JC (not EJC) else you would get jealous?

I asked you to go and dig out all the JCs 1st time A level results to tabulate a chart for better comparison, you choose to avoid the question. Ask you why many preferred to join a more established JC rather than a new JC, you also can’t answer that. I do not think MOE force Teachers to move if they aren’t willing to go over to a new JC to teach.

Stop whining like a petulant child. Today is a sunny day, nice day to go out and start having a life.

          \"well\", \"very well\", \"happy\", \"didn't do well\" are relative terms.

If EJC parents say the college did \"very well\", then the college did \"very well\".
If Grandyma thinks the college didn't do \"very well\", then college didn't do \"very well\".
Everyone is right, in their own ways. Maybe Grandyma has much higher expectations for EJC but there's no need to bash another school... you just need to be happy for your own.

Notwithstanding, using UAS median / mean to justify their position is a foolish endeavour. It's a simple / distilled / watered down metric, but inadequate way of comparison. Despite operating in a temporary location that's out of the way (at least, for CHS / SNGS students), EJC has produced several results worth complimenting, e.g. EJC no. of students scoring 6 distinctions and above in absolute terms (94) is comparable to schools with much smaller cohort, i.e. RV and DHS. Their 3H2 distinction of 1 in 2 (calculated to be 45%) is also comparable with many more established colleges.

IMHO, EJC did as expected, and maybe a bit more.

P/S: I have no kids in EJC or in their feeder schools 😉

            Hi J2 parents,

Just to check, did your child receive a sms from NTU-OA inviting them to Hi Tea with President at MBS? My son and friends are thinking if its a scam and how did the uni get their contact numbers.

Grandyma, this is the 3rd time I am requesting you to provide the details of ALL subjects performance of EJC vs other JCs. But strangely, you have been silent on this, again.

I would think after receiving so many criticisms from forummers about your claims, you would want to vindicate yourself by posting the comparison analysis ?

If you are unable to do so, then I can only conclude that you are fabricating and is a consummate liar.

Don't talk so much hot air.

                1. Show ALL the subjects result you \"claim to have\" have for EJC
                2. Show ALL the subjects results for the other JCs

Then we can see the actual comparison and whether you are just fabricateing stories

                https://postimg.cc/p5yK4nbF

Chill....ok, lets take a subject that has big enrolment eg H2 Econ.
                DHS 66% A
                Vjc 58.3%A
                RV 58%A
You check out EJC Econ A % passes.
If compared to Mid Tier JC, its good.
                But with other JCs...

Sorry, and what's your point? EJC Econs need improvement? Yah, that's true but how about another subject with comparable enrollment to Econs like H2 Physics? How did they do? 😉

I think it goes without saying that some JC is strong / better in some subjects and weaker in others. It's the same for nearly all JCs / schools; you win some, you lose some.

RV, DHS? Not fair lei. 100% IP kids. I thought you always said got IP kids must do v good ?

EJC only 75% IP kids. Can compare like this ah. You quite biased

DHS is one of the SBGE (School Based Gifted Education) schools. It was a pure IP school without JAE students unlike EJC’s intake.

For an apple to apple comparison, may be DHS should compared with RI and HCI, and other SBGE schools.
