Ah gong ah ma are two different people. They are long time enemies actually.
There is no such person as “granddaughter”

      Or me also confused liao??

You got a point. Ppl who play such charades are not honest to others & themselves. They thick they can veil others but actually if they’re not careful, become a nutcase.
When my kids were very young, whenever try to deny wrongdoing, lied & I've to counsel them how telling one lie & ano & ano to hod’s here & there isn’t good coz they’ll end up hurting their true self. Best to guide our kids to be true to themselves. Somehow, I’ve a ‘probia’ and always extrapolate every little small actions in their young lives to guide coz when I’m 8 feet under, Hope they become useful to community & society and not be a pain. :xedfingers:

Esteema, I have my own issues 😓

Do stay above waters. Keep yr sanity. Just love yourself more. Never too much love to give to your family tho they may not always wear it on their lips. My recent experience with my in-laws is greatest testimony & assurance. So nurture yourself first, that’s very need dear.

        :thankyou: :snuggles:

Only my DS eats a lot in the family. DH lost a lot of weight by exercising in the gym 3 times a week till his figure now looks like a model given that he is tall and slim now. Sometimes I will admire him from far Wah especially he wears slim cut jeans and polo...stress to stand beside him 😓

DS simply ignore my advice to cut down on rice but I can understand at his age he is growing cannot stop him but he is going to be overweight soon. My cooking skills improved a lot after following many YouTube recipes and food bloggers. I have a few signature dishes which I am proud of it myself LOL

DD is small eater too but still gives face la finishes everything if I cook. I only cook 3 times a week ha ha and I don’t cook on weekends. My weekend starts from Thursday all the way to Sunday :rotflmao:

I notice we are eating lesser and lesser esp on the main meals nowadays..I used to cook side dishes but now even just a small pot of soup also cannot finish..they will just eat rice with soup..dont even want to eat meat..sometimes I just dunno what else to cook ...I cook fish I got to finish the whole plate..only salmon dd1 will eat most time but the last wk salmon as I didnt put it into her bowl, she finished half a lemon but fish intact..ended I finished it also. Chicken, all of us quite scared already..I used chicken to boil soup difficult to cook with other receipes as kids just dont like..nutrition wise I guess no problem as almost every day they have milk and 2 or 3 types of fruits..now I still haven't cook for them..still thinking..probably noodle or just fry rice later..I ate a packet of curry instant noodle, 4 sausages (now feeling so  ) plus an egg..I think I can just pick up some snacks later on and skip dinner liao.

Whenever I boil soup the children sure very happy and DH too... all fighting to finish the last drop. Very happy that they like my cooking. Yes, sometimes if I remember to buy chicken feet from wet market, I will add it too nice! 😄

Now DH and myself trying to reduce our intake of rice. I will also add brown rice with white rice when cooking. So far so good...

                      Hi phtthp

I don’t buy chicken feet from supermarket.
I try to buy fresh meat and chicken from wet market. Lucky the usual stall which I bought from auto chop away the chicken feet nails for me otherwise I won’t buy 😂

Add the chicken feet together with the pork ribs to boil with lotus root or radish (whichever u prefer). Few hours and the feet will be soft. I use slow cooker so you don’t have to watch the fire over the stove.

Add red dates, dry scallops & pork ribs the soup will be very tasty. No salt needed. Mine is always sweet and flavourful and when added home made meatball will be even nicer.

For me, I always blanch the pork ribs and chicken feet before I start cooking the soup... not sure about others

                        Phtthp,

You bring to boil yr water before adding chicken feet & then turn fire small to continue to water cooking yr chicken feet or pork bones. Chicken feet gets soften & comes off bones within an hour. All the helpers I train didn’t know this & wld always be boiling soup in high fire fr start till end & I’ll explain very detail so they know not only don’t help boil good stock but waste gas/electricity.

I always try to throw in a few pieces of dried fish, cuttlefish or dried scallops, unless u are making soup that alr hv onions or red dates type. These makes sweet tasty soup. Usual recipes that goes with lotus roots are red dates, lotus seeds & wolfberry in 适量就好. ABC simple soup with onion, carrots, celery, potatoes or tomatoes I’ll put in ikan billis. The rich oxtail soup also requires onion for natural sweetness besides tomatoes & carrots but slow fire for more than 5 hours to get yr oxtail soften.
