Now that MOE has scrapped mid-year examinations for primary 1 & 2, is there still a need to download CA1, SA1 test papers for pupils to practise?

What about Primary 3 & 5 in the next three years?

How to differentiate if an online test paper provider is just a photocopy shop or an educational content provider?

By looking at the papers they carry. For example, do they produce their own supplementary worksheets, do they provide their own version of worked solutions, do they provide updates?

Found one site https://www.sgtestpaper.com/ that has all three. They have supplementary English worksheets, maths worked solutions with explanations/comments, interactive quizes and updates. It appears they have academic staff providing support.

My P3 still having CA1, SA1, CA2, SA2 this year. Not his turn to benefit from the official rollout of the changes yet.

When he was P1-P2 though, he had 5 bite-sized assessments. I still downloaded the other schools’ papers for him to practise the relevant topics. It is definitely still useful. Syllabus has not changed, so the real-life sample questions are still useful.

Assessment books do not sufficiently reflect the real-life difficulty of the questions some SAP schools can come up with!
