Hi , I’d like to know, for the p5 bicep immersion trip : Do they stay at the homes of the children there, or do they stay in hotels? Thank u!
Bicep immersion stay in hotels, pretty good and clean hotels actually. only P5 exchange program for Mainstream non bicep will stay at the exchange student house in China and will let the same China kid stay in their house when they come Singapore. they host each other. and these kids also has to go through selection process.
hope this helps.
Thank u! -
Any parents know which days we can go into the school to purchase uniform from school bookshop around this holiday season?

Hi all
May i ask if it is allowed to quit CCA at P5? DS mentioned quite a few of her friends quitted their CCA last wk when CCA just commenced. She is hence wanting to quit too. Reason seems to be too much time commitment as sch wants to win SYF so impose on child 2 CCA days and holiday practice esp for P5 and P6. Any comment? -

Cca is not compulsory in primary school so yes, you can quit anytime. But bearing in mind, experience in primary school will give the child an edge if she/he apply DSA (leadership) or when he is applying for same cca in secondary schoolHi all

Hi folks,
Anyone has kids staying in Pasir Ris attending TNS ? Is the distance from school to home by school bus in afternoon manageable ? Thanks ! -

Thank you so much for the prompt reply 😀We’ll try to find alternative transport then. It’ll be quite wasted to give up TNS as my Wife is ex-student, but at the same time we’re trying to avoid too much travelling for our kid

The top boy in my school used to take a ferry every morning to my school as he stayed in Pulau Ubin or something. To say I’m impressed is an understatement!

I used to stay in SengKang when my #1 was in P1. We exhausted all options (car pooling/bus pool etc...).

Most bus drivers won’t commit to the route at this stage esp if you live a distant, until close to end of the year right before your kid goes to school (nerve wrecking I know!) What I did was call most of the bus vendor that goes nearest to NE, just to make an enquiry first. They will likely say no now. But call again in October/November when they have a better idea of how many kids they have confirmed. If they fall short of their quota, they will go the distance even to Hougang!
My #1 took the bus for one term before we decided to move to the east though. -
