It leads you to ICA website. Tenancy Agreement is recognized.
It’s not really fair to accept OTP because OTP is not necessarily exercised in all cases. Eg seller backs out/buyer backs out/buyer lacks funds/cannot get loan etc.[/quote]just to chip in, MOE site says
An exercised Option-To-Purchase (OTP) together with the buyer's stamp duty certificate is required for families who are in the midst of completing their purchase of the resale private property. In the case of a resale HDB property, the resale application status indicating that HDB has received your application to buy a resale flat is required. The resale flat status can be retrieved and printed from the HDB Resale Portal under HDB e-Services. Parents must undertake and move into the new property by 2 January of the admission year. -

Hi, i will try my luck at either 1 of the 3 schools you mentioned above, anyway if you really didnt manage to get a slot, there is still Sengkang Primary as a back-up.
Hi, can i have some advise for registration under phase 2c & singaporean.
Within 1km:
1. Rivervale primary
2. Compassvale
3. Nan chiau
4. Sengkang primary
According to the past history no 1 - 3 need ballot for SC <1km, only sengkang primary not required, but its not our choice.
Will you fight for nan chiau or the other two? My initial thought was to skip nan chiau because too competitive and might be too stress. But looking at the new exam on p1-p3 it seems like better in terms of stress? Should i try for NC for a better schooling environment?
I am living 1-2 km away from NCPS..so no chance at all.......

Entering Phase 2A1 is almost guaranteed vs Phase 2B. However, as CHIJ TP usually ballot > 2km, it may not make much of a difference to you. Nonetheless, if you are concern, you can always register in TNS in Phase 2A1 and withdraw / re-register in CHIJ TP in Phase 2B if you are certain that there’s no balloting involved.
TBH, Chinese is hardly a deciding factor. Most kids have a poor grasp of Chinese at K1 / K2 and dramatically improved in Pri. The real issue you should consider is distance and convenience from home to school. If there’s a direct transport from home to school, I would think it’s probably ok. Otherwise, you will have to fetch / send for 6 years. If driving, do give it a spin one morning and assess whether that’s a journey you are happy making for the next 6 years. I doubt school bus is an available option.
Lastly, a lot of people are quick to offer transfer as if it’s an easily available option. It’s not. The receiving school will have to accept you and it’s usually subjected to demand / supply. A popular school like CHIJ TP, unfortunately, has more demand than supply (e.g. I can think of a lot of MCS girls / parents who would jump ship to CHIJ TP if given the opportunity). Plus, if the stress is too much and her result isn’t good enough, it’s less likely that the receiving school will accept you. Your alternatives to TNS, if you are looking to transfer, are more likely schools like Bendemeer, Farrer Park etc.
Given the pros / cons and what-nots, I still think CHIJ TP is a much more attractive option, assuming you can get through Phase 2B without having to ballot. Being affiliated to its secondary school is also a huge plus. Alternatively, you can apply to TNS and look to shift house in future.Floppy, you are wonderful. Chij TP primary has always balloted for phase 2B, statistics on the website show more applied than number of places. We will mull over this. -
Dear All,
can i get advise for registration under phase 2c & singaporean.
Within 1Km
1. South view
2. Chua Chu Kang
Within 1-2km
1.St. Anthony
2. Concord
Over 2km
1. De Laselle
Is it wise to register for South View or Chua Chu Kang as these two schools are very popular that the chances of getting in is not high? Or straight register for St. Anthony or Concord which also need balloting in 2c?
As for the >2km, De Laselle is not fully occupied in 2c for year 2018. Does it mean there is also chance during register phase 2c? or it is risky to do so.
Thank you all for your kind advice. -

Hi, sorry JC90, I would like to ride on to your post.
Need the same advise for these schools as well
my son is SC under Phase 2C, within 1km from these school
1st Choice - Admiralty Primary School
2nd Choice - Greenwood Primary
Cant decide if I should try Admiralty or go straight to Greenwood, as Admiralty is really popular and most prob need to ballot.
How about Woodlands Ring Primary? any reviews ? actually Woodlands Ring is the nearest to our hse, but i have heard mixed reviews about this school. Some ppl said its not good, some said its not bad.
Thanks. -

Greenwood won’t ballot in Phase 2C and usually won’t be filled up in Phase 2Cs (and given that you are within 1km, you are almost guaranteed a spot). Same goes for Woodlands Ring - haven’t been filling up it’s places in Phase 2Cs in the last 4 years.
Therefore, go join the queue for Admiralty. If you have to ballot, so be it. If you don’t get the place, just go for Greenwood or Woodlands Ring at Phase 2Cs. -
School have started issuing forms for Phase 1, so please remember to get the older sibling to collect the forms.
