Thankful and grateful that I sent my daughter to Xin Zhong Wen. She has done a lot of progress especially in terms of making sentences. I really see a big change, thanks to her teacher. Before the fifth grade teacher told me that she had to work harder on the essay, I hope that the teacher can give her more guidance on her composition, hoping to help her prepare for the PSLE exam. In addition, I am very happy that he is enjoying the mood of class.

Many school teachers use videos from this one for practice (usually upload to school online learning platform or provide link to students) or as part of holiday/e-learning homework. If your child's school teacher doesn't assign such tasks then can get, otherwise will be repetitive.

Kids should start learning Chinese from as young as 3 years old!
For pre-schoolers, we will focus on word recognition and pinyin in preparation for Primary 1, .
Students will learn more than 1500 Chinese words with us and they will be able to read Chinese storybooks on their own. This will develop their interest in Chinese and they will not struggle when entering P1.
We have developed our own proprietary materials that we will use in class such as picture cards, animation and games to engage young students in class and spark their interest in Chinese.
For Primary schoolers, each lesson can divided mainly into two parts: Word recognition/Pinyin and School Curriculum.
In each lesson, students will learn new words to build up their vocabulary and the tutor will also revise their school work. This will ensure that the students keep up with the school work and at the same time strengthen their Chinese foundation.
For Primary 3 onwards, we will focus on composition and comprehension where most students are weak at.

How to encourage reading of Chinese storybooks? My dd is doing relatively well in Chinese, thanks to her tutor. Yet until now, although she loves reading English storybooks, she is still very reluctant to read Chinese storybooks. I have tried introducing all kinds of books to her but it didnโt seem to work. I am even going to the extent of limiting her time for English books to have silent reading time for Chinese books.
