Im worry HDB take longer time to process the application so it drag over the registration date.
Phase 2C will start in end July only.floppy\" post_id=\"1907729\" time=\"1556156773\" user_id=\"97579:
My current address <1km has Nan Chiau and Compassvalve. We plan to move to nearby in Jul where these both school will be <1km also.
But the S&P (exercise OTP) for the new property will only be ready around end Jul.
May i know if I couldn’t get a seat from either one of the school under phase 2c (SC), can i use my new property address to register under 2cs for springdale (<1km for new property address)?
You may as well use your new property address to register for 2C and save the worrying.
So was thinking if the S&P is still not ready by then, we will use the current address to register under phase 2c, and new address under phase 2cs. But not sure whether can we use different address for different phase.
HDB can take their own sweet time and that's fine.
As per MOE FAQ:
In the case of resale HDB flat, the resale flat application status indicating that HDB has received your application to buy a resale flat is required.
The resale flat application status can be retrieved and printed from the HDB Resale Portal under HDB e-Services.
-

Are you buying a yet-to-be-completed EC or a completed EC?

FYI, Rivercove (yet to be completed) is outside 1km of Compassvale. Treasure Crest and The Vales have been completed and would be within 1km of all 3 schools. Bellewaters is kinda tricky as 2 stacks / blocks are outside of 1km of Compassvale.
For a yet-to-be-completed property:
The new home address can be used provided that you are able to produce evidence from the relevant authority that you have committed to the purchase of this property. In addition, you have to sign a letter of undertaking to move into the new property within two years of the child's entry into Primary One (P1).
As long as you exercise the OTP (5%), and waiting for the S&P (3 to 4 weeks later), it should suffice. -

Treasure crest, completed EC. But still need to go through hdb for approval which takes about 2 months to have the S&P.

So thinking will it be safer if we use current address to register for phase 2c and new address to register springdale (my current address is 1-2km) if I couldn’t get a seat under phase 2c for Nan Chiau or Compassvale (have not decide which to go yet) -
May i jump into this? How do i sign a letter of undertaking to move into my father’s yet-to-be completed house (grandfather) so that I can use the address to register for phase 2c?

Hi fellow parents! Sorry if this if off topic, but understand St Margaret’s will be undergoing PERI upgrade in 2020-2021. Can anyone advise which address will be used for home-school distance calculation: the original (Wilkie) or the temporary (Mattar) one? Thank you!

It is always the original address that will be used. Regardless of which school.

Hi everyone,
My son will be in P1 in year 2021, therefore the school registration will be around July-August 2020.
My problem is that my house (the address i will be using to register my son) is being rented out till September 2020, and after that I will be moving there for good.
Will there be a problem when i register my son to the school?
Please advise. Thanks! -

Yes there is a problem. You need to be physically living in that house (and NRIC indicating that address) by June 2020.

Actually no. Same like purchasing a resale property / new property.LC9\" post_id=\"1908461\" time=\"1556721099\" user_id=\"177322:Yes there is a problem. You need to be physically living in that house (and NRIC indicating that address) by June 2020.

If LC9 is the legal owner of the property, he needs to sign an undertaking that he will be shifting back to the property before the start of P1 in 2021.
