If the child is trained to consistently do quick storyline/storycurve, whilst writing & deveoping Essay, will not deviate & go out of point. Always train child to check the points written against storyline & picture, check details in the pic & ensure it’s not out of point before embarking on full written essay. Do same with chinese language 作文.

          Hi bluepencil,

agree with tryourbest that, above p6 and p5 English composition books are good, because inside contain several useful story plot, for different compo topics (scenario) : can help your girl to prepare for Psle English composition (paper 1), worthwhile to buy 🙂

Jiayou to yr child and all p6s sitting for Sa1 soon! :xedfingers:

Thank you tryyourbest! I have asked my child to write a bit of compo everyday. Hopefully it will get the engine running.

            Hi bluepencil & tryourbest,

Is your sa1 over, by end of next Friday (17 may) ?

If you happen to look for a Chinese oral workshop during coming June school holidays to prepare for Psle, chenlaoshi is organizing a second oral workshop on June (6 and 7, Thurs and friday).
I find the list of Chinese Oral topics he going to cover, useful. His first oral workshop is full house.

Check with Academia at Sin Ming Plaza 2, next to ShunFu mkt & abt 10 min fr Marymount MRT.

They hv very good June special training programs every year specially designed to coach kids to prepare themselves to tackle multiple conversations-based interviews (DSA tests) & orals exams. I find their materials useful even for uni interviews. During DS time, they brot in diff ppl to invigilator & professionals tobtake Video of our child’s performance & gave very useful feedback. DS enjoyed it thoroughly.

                    Hi Esteema,

Just called Academia, 5 minutes ago. They said they going to conduct an english Composition workshop this June holiday, but not English Oral workshop.
                    Thanks very much, dear.

yup exams over by next Friday...cant wait to take a breather!

Thanks for asking 🙂 yes the oral workshop by chen laoshi seems very useful , was keen but due to distance issues i would probably have to give it a miss. My dc's loss. I'm sure the kids will benefit greatly under his tutelage.

does any of u feel you have 'neglected' / let go your younger kiddos abit? i feel my dc2 results this mid year going to drop big time cos i dont really have much energy and time left to coach him... feel very burnout lately...

Am i the only one who feels this way? :gloomy:
